Nuestro barrio, nuestra salud (ONOH) es un planteamiento para mejorar la salud de un barrio en el que se pide a los vecinos que identifiquen los problemas de salud m\u00e1s acuciantes y sus soluciones. Se trata de un modelo escalable, colaborativo y local, basado en los principios de la investigaci\u00f3n participativa comunitaria. Nos centramos en el desarrollo de un marco para la salud de los barrios que se basa en soluciones impulsadas por los barrios para las necesidades sanitarias identificadas por los barrios con un amplio apoyo institucional en Grand Rapids, Michigan.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Comenzando con un proyecto piloto en el barrio de Roosevelt Park en 2021, la ONOH implica la participaci\u00f3n de los vecinos en encuestas y grupos de discusi\u00f3n para identificar las principales necesidades sanitarias. Una vez que los vecinos priorizan las necesidades sanitarias, la Junta Consultiva Comunitaria apoya el desembolso de minisubvenciones a las organizaciones del barrio que satisfagan esas necesidades.<\/p>\n

En la actualidad, el modelo ONOH se aplica en el barrio de Roosevelt Park de Grand Rapids, con el apoyo del Centro Hispano del Oeste de Michigan como organizaci\u00f3n vertebradora y de un Consejo Asesor Comunitario, el Colectivo de Bienestar de Roosevelt Park.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Durante el verano de 2024, representantes de Corewell Health Healthier Communities, del Departamento de Salud del condado de Kent, del Centro Hispano del Oeste de Michigan y miembros del Consejo Asesor de la Comunidad (rebautizado como Colectivo para el Bienestar de Roosevelt Park) se reunieron para reflexionar sobre la experiencia piloto en Roosevelt Park y debatir sobre el futuro del modelo. De cara al futuro, el Colectivo para el Bienestar de Roosevelt Park (el Consejo Asesor de la Comunidad) seguir\u00e1 reuni\u00e9ndose y actuando como grupo de defensa dentro del barrio. Adem\u00e1s, se har\u00e1n esfuerzos para alinear la futura aplicaci\u00f3n con la Evaluaci\u00f3n de las Necesidades Sanitarias de la Comunidad.<\/p>\n

El perfeccionamiento del modelo ONOH en Roosevelt Park, as\u00ed como su expansi\u00f3n a otros barrios de Grand Rapids, est\u00e1 en curso, y Corewell Health y el Departamento de Salud del Condado de Kent dirigen la estrategia y el desarrollo.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
